Houghton, was kind enough to ask a question. I felt it appropriate to answer using the Bible as the basis for my reply. There was an audible intake of breath from the parishioners, as if I had committed some great trespass. I was never afraid to question authority, however. The philosophy of the "divine right" died out in the seventeenth century; no one is born to it. I adopt an approach to people of, "you have to earn my respect". Speaking to Rev.
